Our little garden project
We do not have much sun in our backyard, but there is a little spot which gets enough light for growing some stuff. So whenever a garden catalog showed up in our mail, Oliver got really exited. It was fun to listen to him about what vegetables he wants to grow this summer. We would need a football-field-size of a garden + an huge orchard if we want to grow all this stuff he wants to. We managed to bargain it down to broccoli, melons, tomatoes and carrots. We will start growing some of the seeds indoors. Oliver is totally into it. We will give you progress reports throughout the summer (if summer ever comes -maybe now that I ordered these seeds, spring will come sooner -ha, ha- I probably jinxed it).
The boys are goofin off
Tutu for Lilly
I finally made my daughter a tutu. I made about 1o of them for Christmas and gave them to family and friends. But I did not manage to make one for my own daughter. Shame on me! And they are so easy to make. Isn't Lillian adorable!
Lets talk dino
Every three year old has his favorite characters. Oliver loves Thomas the Tank Engine and dinosaurs. Whoever invented Dinosaur train on PBS is a genius. My son knows names of dinosaurs which I have never heard off, and does better than me in pronouncing them. Daddy and Oliver like to chase each other and pretend to be dinosaurs. It is especially cute when Lillian gets to be in the mix. She mainly is the poor little baby T-Rex which gets eaten up by the big T-Rexes. It is hilarious to watch. I will try to get some footage of that.
Here is a conversation of Oliver with mommy about dinosaurs.
